Product Description

GI-Pro™ Gastrointestinal is a unique, comprehensive natural product formulated to provide relief from the symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and indigestion. It works with the liver, gallbladder, stomach, pancreas, intestinal tract and colon to: improve the digestion process, settle the stomach, soothe the gastrointestinal tract and help repair the intestinal lining. For optimal results it is recommended that GI-Pro™ be taken in conjunction with a fibre-rich diet and a good quality probiotic (friendly bacteria) supplement.

Ingredients (6 Capsules). L-Glutamine 2100mg, Quercetin 750mg, Artichoke leaf 4:1 640mg, Angelica archangelica 300mg, Bromelain 1000 GDU 300mg, Turmeric 200mg and Peppermint 10:1 120mg in easily digested vegetable capsules.

Recommendations for Usage

For optimal digestive support, it is recommended that GI-Pro

™ be taken in conjunction with a daily fibre, such as psyllium, and a good quality probiotic (friendly bacteria). Take two (2) capsules just before meals with minimal water.

Medicinal Ingredients

L-Glutamine

(2100mg) – Helps to heal the ‘gut’ by improving the integrity or permeability (leakiness) of the intestinal tract.

Quercetin

(750mg) – Can help protect against ulcers and has been shown to inhibit H-Pylori (the bacterium associated with peptic ulcer disease). It stabilizes inflammatory factors called mast cells in the intestines. This then helps reduce the permeability (leakiness) of the gastrointestinal mucosa.

Artichoke extract

(640mg) – Increases the secretion of bile acids from the liver and gallbladder, aiding digestion, and decreasing symptoms of bloating and fullness.

Angelica archangelica

(300mg) – Traditionally used for colicky pains, gas, ‘sour’ stomach and bad breath.

Bromelain

(300mg) – A natural anti-inflammatory enzyme which assists in breaking down proteins to further improve digestion.

Turmeric

(200mg) – Increases specific digestive enzyme factors (gastrin, secretin, pancreatic enzyme and bicarbonate), relieves dyspepsia, acts as a natural anti-inflammatory and reduces intestinal spasms.

Peppermint extract

(120mg) - Stimulates the flow of bile from the liver and gallbladder, which relieves indigestion symptoms, inhibits unhealthy micro-organisms and reduces spasms.
